Book Review:

Transitions and beyond can be categorised under self-help books where the author has explained in very simple and effective manner the importance of letting go and moulding ourselves with the changing times and circumstances. This book fills the reader with certain kind of positivity. The book comprises of three modules, each dealing with a different aspect of life and human nature & evolution. At the end of every chapter, there is a section name “Take Away” where the gist of the whole chapter is given.

Transition and Beyond is a good book and is perfectly apt for a time when everyone is struggling with his/her own battle with life. This book teaches us how to win over these situations and feelings and become triumphant. Transitions and Beyond majorly talks about how to transform our lives and make it better with the changing scenarios we come across during the journey called life. It talks about the journey within rather than looking for external help. The book is gripping and will definitely be liked by those who love reading self-help books. What I also liked in the book were the small stories that the author has included to explain simple points.

The book cover is ok and does not resonate with the theme of the book. Language used is simple and crisp. Overall a nice and soothing read.

I have been reading a lot of spiritual and self-help books by Swami Vivekananda and Shri Aurobindo so some kind of comparision was always there while reading the book.  Had it not been that, I would have definitely rated the book as 4 stars. However, this book is a great effort by the author I must say and overall is a good read.
