In Conversation with Kevin Missal – Author of Kalki

Mr. Kevin Missal, Co-Founder and Co-Owner of Kalamos Literary Services, has come up with yet another sensational novel; Dharmayoddha Kalki: The Avatar of Vishnu. Let’s have a tête-à-tête with him regarding his latest release, Kalki.

Tell us something about yourself.

My name is Kevin Solomon Missal. I am 21 year old graduate from St. Stephen’s College. I have been writing since the age of fourteen. I have written four books till now. I am also the Co-Founder and Co-Owner of Kalamos Literary Services.

Kalki is apparently the 10th avatar of Lord Vishnu which is yet to arrive. How difficult was it to research about the topic as no one is very sure about this avatar of the Lord?

Everything is available online but yes I did read the Kalki Purana to learn everything about the actual story.

What was the source of your research to write the book or is it purely fictional?

It’s inspired from Kalki Purana but is a loosely, stretched version of it with fantastical, action sequences.

What inspired you to choose a mythological theme for your book?

Because I have been writing ONLY on mythology since I was fourteen apart from an erotic thriller that’s yet to be released.

Tell us what readers can expect from this book?

They can expect masala, fun and just a a good time with amazing, three-dimensional characters.

Do you have any published work other than “Kalki”?

I have written “Damien Black: Battle of Lost Ages”, “UNLOCKED”, “YAMA”, “KARMA”

What are your upcoming projects?

The sequel of this book, Mara–a thriller on a Buddhist demon, MADHU- an erotic thriller.
